The proposed hotel will be located within Crescent, a G+8 development spread across approximately 140,000 sq. ft. of built-up area and comprising around 100 units. Designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers, the property will serve the growing Mohali and Chandigarh Tricity market.
Planned facilities include a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, all-day dining restaurant and banqueting facilities. Integrated within the larger commercial development, the hotel is expected to complement Crescent’s business infrastructure by providing accommodation and hospitality services for corporate clients, visitors and event attendees.
Mohali has emerged as one of North India’s fastest-growing commercial and residential destinations, benefiting from its proximity to Chandigarh and continued investment in infrastructure, education, healthcare and business development. The growing demand for quality hospitality offerings has encouraged several hotel brands to expand their presence across the Tricity region.
Speaking about the partnership, Akshay Taneja, Managing Director, TDI Infratech, said, “Crescent reflects our vision of creating integrated destinations where commercial infrastructure and branded hospitality complement each other to deliver long-term value. Our partnership with Sarovar Hotels is an important step in advancing this approach, strengthening the project’s proposition while responding to the evolving needs of businesses and travellers.”
“As Mohali continues to develop as a commercial and urban centre, we see an opportunity to create destinations that contribute meaningfully to the region’s growth,” he added.
Rajesh Ranjan, Senior Vice President – Development, Sarovar Hotels, noted that the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding in markets witnessing strong business activity and urban growth. He highlighted Mohali’s strategic position within the Chandigarh Tricity and its appeal to both corporate and leisure travellers.
The project marks another step in the continued evolution of Mohali as a business and hospitality hub, while reinforcing Sarovar Hotels’ commitment to growing its presence in emerging urban markets across India.
