Yashshree GD Garden Resort will feature 45 rooms, extensive event facilities and premium leisure amenities across a 13-acre development.
Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Yashshree GD Garden Resort, a new five-star property in Itanagar, marking a significant step in the group’s expansion across Eastern and Northeastern India. Located on Jollang Road in Papu Nallah, Naharlagun, the resort is expected to strengthen the region’s upscale hospitality offerings while catering to leisure travellers, business guests and the growing weddings and events market.
Spread across 13 acres of landscaped grounds, the resort will feature 45 guestrooms and has been designed as a multi-purpose hospitality destination. The property is positioned to serve a diverse clientele, including families, corporate travellers and visitors attending weddings, conferences and social celebrations in Arunachal Pradesh’s capital region.
One of the key highlights of the development is its extensive event infrastructure. The resort will offer a 6,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, a 2,500 sq. ft. conference room, an 800 sq. ft. boardroom, and a 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn, making it suitable for large-scale social functions, corporate meetings and destination weddings. Parking facilities for more than 100 vehicles will further support its meetings and events business.
In addition to accommodation and event spaces, the resort will feature a restaurant, bar and swimming pool, providing guests with a comprehensive hospitality experience. The property is expected to serve as a convenient base for travellers exploring Itanagar and the wider Arunachal Pradesh region for leisure, cultural experiences and business purposes.
