Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels launches its second property in the coastal city with a 52-key hotel on Beach Road.

Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL) has expanded its footprint in Andhra Pradesh with the launch of Zone Connect by The Park Visakhapatnam, marking the group’s second hotel in the city. Situated on the iconic Beach Road, the 52-key property aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers while leveraging Visakhapatnam’s growing importance as a commercial, industrial and tourism destination.

The new hotel enjoys a strategic location close to key transport and business hubs, including Visakhapatnam Port, which is approximately 2.5 km away, and Visakhapatnam Railway Station, located 4.9 km from the property. Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport is around 48.6 km away, providing connectivity for domestic and international travellers.

Designed around the Zone brand’s contemporary and connected hospitality approach, the hotel offers a range of dining, leisure and event facilities. Guests can dine at Café C, the all-day dining restaurant, or enjoy views of the Bay of Bengal from the open-air coffee shop. The property also features a terrace swimming pool with panoramic sea views, adding to its appeal as a leisure destination.

For events and meetings, the hotel includes banquet spaces capable of accommodating up to 300 guests for weddings, conferences and social gatherings. A dedicated venue known as Grey Zone has been developed for smaller meetings and corporate events. Bright interiors and contemporary design elements further contribute to the hotel’s modern character.

Commenting on the launch, Botcha Suresh Kumar, Managing Director, and Veda Vyas Botcha, Director of Hema Abodes Private Limited, said the partnership with ASPHL is expected to strengthen the region’s hospitality ecosystem while creating local employment opportunities.

Vikas Ahluwalia, AVP and National Head of Zone by The Park, noted that Visakhapatnam’s combination of business activity, tourism appeal and coastal lifestyle makes it a natural fit for the brand. He added that the launch reinforces ASPHL’s commitment to Andhra Pradesh as a high-potential growth market.

With the opening of Zone Connect by The Park Visakhapatnam, ASPHL continues to expand its portfolio in key urban and leisure destinations across India while strengthening its position in the country’s growing mid-scale hospitality segment.
