AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — The Magnum Ice Cream Co. is launching ice cream bars inspired by popular candy bars from The Hershey Co. The launch includes Reese’s crunchy peanut butter ice cream bars and Almond Joy ice cream bars.
The Reese’s-inspired bar is formulated with peanut butter ice cream, Reese’s peanut butter, peanut pieces and a chocolate coating.
The Almond Joy-inspired novelty is made with coconut ice cream, almonds, chocolate sauce and a chocolate coating.
The bars are available nationwide in 6-count packs at Alberton’s, Meijer's, Ahold, Delhaize and Wakefern retailers. An expanded retail rollout is expected, according to the company.
