Bordeaux-based agency to present over 70 producers from more than 10 countries at ProWine Mumbai 2026, reflecting growing confidence in the Indian market.

Cellar 33, the Bordeaux-based export, marketing and consultancy agency specialising in Champagne, wine and spirits, is significantly strengthening its presence in India with its largest-ever international showcase, featuring a portfolio of more than 70 producers from over 10 countries. The event will be presented at ProWine Mumbai 2026, scheduled for 18–19 November at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Founded in 2023 by Amrita Singh and Mattia Antonio Cianca, Cellar 33 has steadily expanded its role as a bridge between international wine and spirits producers and the Indian hospitality, retail and import community. The company’s growth mirrors the increasing interest of global beverage brands in one of the world’s fastest-growing premium alcohol markets.

The agency’s India journey began with participation in Vinexpo India in 2022 and has shown remarkable growth over a short period. From representing 21 producers across six countries at ProWine Mumbai in 2023, Cellar 33 expanded to 25 producers and 42 wine references in 2024 and more than 35 producers with 65 wine references in 2025. The 2026 edition marks its largest showcase to date, with a portfolio exceeding 70 producers.

Beyond exhibition participation, Cellar 33 has successfully translated industry engagement into business outcomes. Following ProWine Mumbai 2024, the company facilitated import agreements for 12 participating producers through Indian importers. In 2025, it helped secure market entry opportunities for seven South African wine producers, highlighting its growing influence in connecting global brands with Indian distributors.

This year’s showcase will feature an extensive selection of international wines, Champagnes and spirits alongside dedicated experiences including a Champagne Bar, an International Spirits Corner, and a Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) Corner showcasing award-winning beverages from around the world. The programme will also include tastings, masterclasses and professional discussions involving international producers and industry specialists.

Speaking about the company’s expansion, Amrita Singh, Co-Founder of Cellar 33, said, “From the outset, our ambition has been to build meaningful connections between international producers and the Indian market, creating opportunities that translate into lasting commercial partnerships. Growing from 21 producers in 2023 to a portfolio of more than 70 in 2026 marks a significant milestone for Cellar 33.”

She added that the company remains focused on developing sustainable partnerships, expanding market access and bringing a broader selection of global wine and spirits brands to India.

As India’s premium beverage sector continues to mature, initiatives such as Cellar 33’s international showcase are playing an increasingly important role in introducing global producers to importers, hospitality operators and consumers, while reinforcing India’s position as an attractive market for world-class wine and spirits brands.
